an ultra thin cost-effective
Virtual Web Hosting Appliance, at ISPCON Spring 2000.

of successful partnership between Siliconrax-Sliger
and Ensim Corporation, Siliconrax-Sliger today unveiled
true innovation in the web hosting industry by introducing
ultra thin cost-effective virtual web hosting appliance
named Starion geared specifically for the ISPs, ASPs
and HSPs. Starion, coupled with Siliconrax-Sliger's
custom designed premium quality 1U server appliance
and Ensim Corporation's innovative easy to setup virtual
web hosting software, is to address the challenges faced
by web hosting and application service providers in
deploying their current internet infrastructures. These
service providers have been facing the challenges of
having to quickly scale their hosting infrastructure
to achieve scale economies. Starion, as a versatile
next generation web hosting appliance, will help these
service providers to quickly scale their business by
decreasing costly time spend in equipment shopping,
setup, and training administrators.
