SILICONRAX-SLIGER'S SR-CX264PR AND RAX4100 4-IN-1 ISP SERVER

Siliconrax-Sliger (Sunnyvale, CA -- 1-800-700-8560 www.siliconrax-sliger.com) continues the industry's dash toward 2U high, 19-inch rackmount computers with their SR-CX264PR. They¡¯ve somehow managed to fit a six-slot back-plane and dual 300W N+1 load-sharing hot-swap power supplies in the little box, along with one exposed 3.5-inch and 5.25-inch disk drive bays.

At the high end, Siliconrax-Sliger has introduced the Rax4100 4-in-1 ISP Server, a complete 19-inch rackmount having a 20-slot PCI Bus quad-segmented backplane, each segment consisting of one ISA/CPU slot and three PCI slots. There are four Pentium III 500MHz SBCs on board, and four 9.1GB SCSI drives (but there's room for expansion, since the 4U high enclosure has a total of seven drive bays). A 400W N+1 load-sharing, hot-swappable power supply rounds out this heavy duty system.
