SR-CX479H-ATX Has Been Selected by Intel SR-CX479H-ATX
passes Intel
L440GX+ Server Board compatibility
test.
Sunnyvale, CA – June 23, 2000 -- Siliconrax-Sliger's
new rackmount enclosure SR-CX479H-ATX, supporting one
of the most popular Intel motherboards adopted by server
makers-- L440GX+ Server Board, is currently introduced
in the Intel Reference Chassis Program
(http://support.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/l440gx/lgxtherm850.HTM).
The report of the compatibility test released in the
Intel Support Web Page indicates that the SR-CX479H-ATX
is mechanically and thermally compatible with the Intel
L440GX+ Server Board supporting Intel Pentium III 850MHz.
The areas of focus for this testing were mechanical
fit, chassis thermal performance, and power supply support
of 800ma of +5V standby current
The SR-CX479H-ATX is designed to meet the specifications
of a variety of server platform configurations to satisfy
the needs of mission critical applications and handle
the complex information needs of large enterprises.
PRODUCT
The SR-CX479H-ATX supports full size AT/ATX motherboard
or up to 14 slot backplane with a combination of PCI
and ISA. This high density 4U rackmount enclosure includes
one exposed 3.5" and four exposed 5.25" vertical drive
bays and three 5.25" horizontal drive bays that are
shock-mounted for vibration. The product holds any industrial
grade PS2 type single or dual redundant hot swap power
supply.
The SR-CX479H-ATX features three removable 105 CFM
ball-bearing intake fans, one 37 CFM exhaust fan on
the power supply, and one additional 37 CFM ball-bearing
fan for CPU. The front door with removable filter covers
the entire front panel and is also lockable. The dimension
of the product is 19"(W) x 7"(H) x 26"(D).
